Melisent Auguste was orphaned as a child during a brutal raid on her village, leading her to be taken in by a mysterious, nomadic group of assassins known as the "Shadow Weavers." Raised in secrecy, she was trained in stealth, swordsmanship, and the art of thievery, developing a reputation for her chillingly quiet movements and ability to disappear without a trace. Shadow Weavers are equally feared, respected, and disdained. They are hired by the wealthiest in the kingdom, but always in secret, and an affiliation with them would never be admitted publicly. Shadow Weavers are identified by a unique tattoo of a Raven on their right inside forearms. She is calculating and lethal but yearns for something beyond her solitary existence, though she has a strong distrust for anyone not within her syndicate.
